For example 

A square sticky note has an area of 64 square centimeters. How long is each side of the sticky note? the answer is 8 because if you multiply all the sides together you will get 64

Another example is 

A square notepad has a perimeter of 40 centimeters. How long is each side of the notepad? the answer is 10 because if you multiply each side by 10 you will get 40

Writing Politics

It is the year of the election. and people are getting ready to vote, for whatever of the nine political parties they have to choose from, on the 20th of September. Make sure you pick the one that meets your needs with all their policies.

The first thing you should look at if you have kids is education, you want the best education for your kids so then they can be successful. Lets talk about free tertiary education, National strongly disagrees with free tertiary education, Labor on the other hand is neutral and wants to make it more affordable. Green somewhat agree and will cap it then progressively reduce the fees, NZ First Strongly agrees and says they reject the current model where you have to borrow to live. United Future strongly agree and wants to increase the quality of tertiary education, Maori party Strongly agrees and wants to make sure everyone gets a chance to have tertiary education,

Mana Strongly agree and wants free tertiary education to be available for everyone, Act Strongly disagree and want to add interest to student loans. Conservative Somewhat agree and wants free tertiary but have a different means from other parties.

Healthcare is also very important if you have kids because if they get badly hurt and you don't have the money some of the parties will use taxes to pay for their health care and they have been asked what age they are going to give free healthcare to. National thinks that it should be somewhat older and will extend the age for free doctors and prescriptions to anyone under 13, Labor thinks it should be somewhat older and will put it up to 13, Green thinks much older and says they will give free healthcare to all new zealanders from birth till they are 18. NZ First think somewhat older and are going to give free healthcare to all primary students, United Future thinks somewhat older and free up to 18 for just visits, Maori party Much older and will give free health care up to 18, Mana thinks that it should be much older and will give free primary health care, Act say about the same as now and will make it free visits under 13, Conservative say somewhat older and says that if you go to the doctor early it saves money in the long run.

Law and order can affect your kids as well because without law and order your kids won’t feel safe, the parties got asked if they are going to make the sentences stiffer for repeat offenders. National are neutral and they are working toward the law to keep people locked away for a lot longer, Labour somewhat disagree and think prison is unlikely to fix the problem, Green somewhat disagree and are lowering re imprisonment and re conviction rates, NZ First Strongly agree and will introduce cumulative sentencing for offenders convicted of more than one crime, United Future Somewhat disagree restorative justice/positive rehabilitation policy to lessen recidivism rates, Maori party Strongly agree and want to throw out the 3 strikes legislation, Mana strongly agree and want to reduce the use of prison as a response to wrongdoing and invent a restorative system, Act didn't say anything about the subject, Conservative Strongly agree and think catch and release isn't working.

After looking at all the parties I have decided that the one that meets my needs is Green because they are offering free tertiary education and healthcare for anyone up to the age of 18 and that would help me in the future. So think before you vote.

I saw her staring at the kids with disgusted eyes, and hands in a fist, I could tell she hated them and they were everything to me. She had to go.

I decided I would hire someone to take care of her, for good, so I went to a professional, a ghost witch, but when I told her about my problem she said I had to give her the kids or she wouldn’t do it, so I decided I would do it myself so I went to bed that night knowing what I had to do.

Writing Hansel And Gretel Parody

Once upon a time there was two kids, one evil stepmother and one father. One day the stepmother had had enough of the two kids so she got the Father to take them to the forest on a sunny afternoon and leave them there with only a pack of tic tac things that one of the kids found, the kids names were Hansel and Gretel, Hansel had dark brown hair with very dark blonde eyebrows. Gretel also had dark brown hair in a ponytail but with black eyebrows.  

“I’m sorry said the Father, but I have to do this.”

“Please don’t” said Hansel, with tears in his eyes as their Father left them in the forest. With a quick slap around the face from Gretel, Hansel was ready and focused. They could hear the birds tweeting and the leaves falling from the trees. “We need to find somewhere to stay the night,” said Gretel. “Its getting dark,” said Hansel. “I'm afraid of the dark,” said Hansel again with an unsteady voice. “We can leave a trail of the tic tac things in your pocket,” said Gretel. Just incase we get lost. So after hours of traveling in the dark scary forest, leaving a trail of tic tac’s behind them, they eventually found a large tree and decided to stay there for awhile so they put the tic tacs by the tree and went to sleep for the freezing cold night.

Hansel woke to a strange “NOM NOM” noise that was coming from the tree then heard a scream from Gretel as they jumped up ready to face the attacker but in that same moment the attacker revealed himself to be a circular yellow monster with a big mouth and big eyes. Hansel and Gretel froze, then ran for their life through the forest towards a house tall made of lollies and sweets, like a gingerbread house with a candyfloss garden out the front and a marshmallow doorbell, but didn’t bother pressing it.

They ran right through the door to be greeted by a old lady with long white hair and pale skin. then the ghost witch told them to calm down and eat some chocolate so Hansel started to dig in to the candy but Gretel was still terrified by the yellow monster they saw and didn’t eat so that got the old lady very mad and she then revealed herself to being a ghost witch and tried to throw them into the oven that was burning hot, almost singeing off the kids eyebrows. As they were about to get cooked when suddenly out of nowhere the yellow monster smashed through the wall and gobbled down the witch. All you could hear was “NOM! NOM! NOM!” then the house and the ghost witch were gone and the yellow monster burped loudly then introduced himself to the kids, to be Pacman.

WALT: I can write a sentence with a variety of starters and calluses.

Eventually after thinking long and hard, my opinion is that business have more responsibility. Business have lots of customers they have to deal with that means lots of problems. Most business will try there best to keep their customers happy so they come back. Also if someone buys the wrong product the consumer could ask somebody who works at the shop about the product, finally if the consumer buys a fake product online they could check with the shop if the site looks dodgy.

Use 3.14 for π.

First example is the small print, When a smartphone company had a newspaper advertisers on a deal on a really cheap phone but in the small print that was so small it was unreadable. The consumer had to enlarge it on a computer to find out what it said and it had lots of imported details and also said that you had to pay more and even sign up to a contract. The business tried to mislead the consumer therefore that was breaking the Consumers Guarantees Act. For the business doing things like that will make them become untrustworthy and the consumer could have wasted lots of money on the product.

Conclusion

Death, Destruction, Chaos, They are some of the things  Adolf Hitler caused including, over 11 million deaths, and Finally nearly conquered all of Europe. Overall He was a great leader but he used his talent in the wrong way even though he thought it was right, he caused a lot of pain and that is the impact one man can do.

“Devin and Edward I have another contract for you two,” Said Nazz’ar. “Let me see” said Devin feeling excited for another contract as he reached over and snatched the piece of paper with the contract details on it. Devin had a surprised look on his face and went pale when he saw the name in bold Duncan Thornside then showed Edward in shock they gave each other a look and Edward quickly said. “It will be done.”

Then Edward pulled Devin outside and said.

“Do you know the consequence for refusing to fulfill a contract.” “Yes, death.” Said Devin thinking about what happened to others who had done that very thing.

My Goal Was to Elaborate my ideas to include description of characters, settings and important events.
I Have used this sample because when they got given the contract I stated the feeling used an action used a description and used dialogue.

The Influences on the decisions were family and friends because his friend made him want to do the right thing but it didn't help much.

Family can really influence peoples choices. It could b anything from wanting to buy something or wanting to go somewhere or even eating food. For example a 15 year old might want to attend a party with 17 and 18 year olds but your family thinks its a bad idea or alcohol will be there. That can effect their choices because if you let them act and do what they want they might start making bad choices.

Walt: Model and solve linear equations

You can solve 5a + 8 = 18 

First you - 8 from the 8 then you do the same to the 18 then you have 5a = 10 

Then you look at the 5a you have to do 

5 divided by 10 that is 2 so then you have your answer     a = 2

So if you had 5 + z = 10   z = 5
